I graduated in 1994 with a bachelors in Technology with a Major in Wood working from Pittsburg State university in Pittsburg, Kansas. I do wood working as a hobby in my garage. I somehow ended up in the IT field building physical and virtual servers as a career along with other areas of IT. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and 3 awesome children. I am currently building a dresser and found this site when I was looking for reviews on the Earlex hvlp paint sprayer 5000. I will try to post some pictures. I am teaching my 8 year old son how use some of the tools. He shows alot of interest in wood working.
We have a 71 Camaro that I am thinking about painting and was wondering how well the Earlex 5000 would spray automotive paint prefer Lacquer. I was hoping I can use it on wood and cars. I am tired of all the overspray in the garage and am going to try hvlp.
Thanks.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.
To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.
Please enjoy your membership.

Thank you all for the welcoming. I can definitely see how this site can be addicitve. It has so much to offer and I really like the type of members that it attracts. I have to find more pictures of projects, but I did find a couple of pics of a dresser I made for wife in early 2009. I am about to finish up a second dresser exactly like it. This one is mine! Then I need to make one more night stand and the bedroom set will be complete.
Thanks again for the kind words.
