Hello Chip, I use a water based latex for the lettering. Water based because it is quick to clean my little brushes. As Dick mentioned above there are thousands of characters and styles. Most represent complete words or thoughts. I was thinking about this the other day and then posted it incorrectly.

I am with you Bro, I have been working on a big order for barstools, glueing and dowelling with titedond II and because of the heat here in Texas which was pushing a 100 today, the glue was drying before I could wipe off the excess, I also poured some black tinted 24 hour epoxy in a cypress slab and it was hard before I left the shop it was grind-able….I was stationed at Dover AFB back in 1980, yeah I am old :) but I will never forget George and the Delaware Destroyers ….hehe… and I remember it being a little hot and humid in the Summer up there in Delaware…You can use the the glue you prefer if you can control the temperature, I ordered a couple of those big fans that you pack ice in…I will let you know the results….

Chip Saw that you bought a Steel City 3HP. I am in the process of buying a new saw and Steel City is on the top of my list. In fact if I get the cash, I’m gonna get the 35670 model. That has a 1.75 hp motor. I wanted the 3 hp but I do not cut anything thicker than 1 1/8 thick. Every one I talked to, including the tech at Steel City, said that saw would do me just fine. I am going to put a Forrest Wood Worker II blade with it. Would like to know how you like your saw and any problems you have had. I have researched for a new saw and Steel City has the best features so far.
