Retired Valuer. I have a well equiped garage sized workshop & am interested in most woodworking projects. No formal training other than weekend work with a carpenter friend a few years ago & work in a sawmill when I was a teenager. Enjoy small & large projects.

I have already posted to your projects but have not formally welcomed you – Welcome to LJ!

I think you will really like it here. This is the best woodworking community anywhere.

Thanks for the welcome Todd. The nickname started when the grand kids came along. My son thought it was a bit of a joke to call me Grumpy (instead of Gramps or Pop etc) & it stuck.

We welcome you to the one and only LumberJocks. We hope that you enjoy your stay/visit each and every time you show up on our door step. If you should need any woodworking question answered, don’t hesitate to ask. Somebody’s gonna have a great answer for you.

Grumpy:

What can you tell me about a bar that you were making for your wife.

Or should I give her a call?

Thanks for the welcome Grumpy :)

I can’t get enough of this site. I’ve spent most of the evening just looking at projects. I’m pretty awestruck at the artistry.
