I made reference in another blog to two chests of drawers that I’m preparing to build in the Arts and Crafts – Stickley style for some friends. These, to go with a bed frame I’ve completed construction on:
Bed Frame, Catalog Reprint Pictures and Pile of Rough Cut Parts
1. The Bed Frame
2. Per my friends’ wishes, the design will mimic the carcase of this Stickley chest
3. & will mimic the drawer arrangement of this Stickley chest
4. The beginnings of parts.
I picked up some poplar for secondary wood and some more oak yesterday
Ready to get after it today.

Parts and Parts. Is this being made out of red oak.
