Retired Engineer and Psychotherapist. Got into woodworking 3 years ago when a cherry tree fell in my back yard from ice storm. $3000 later I can make pretty stuff.

My favorite saying since I started is :
"woodworking - patience = firewood"

Every new project for me takes a lot of hobby time. Learning how to do something and then doing it takes nerve.

My wife and I playing with wood in Co.

Handmade is the same as homemade. If you make it from scratch it is homemade. If you make it from lumber it is handmade/homemade.

I cook pizza frm scratch. Make the dough and sauce, bake and eat. Yum!

I make end grain cutting boards. I cut up the wood and glue it together, finish the wood and eat it, whoops enjoy it.
